Google provides us a whole set of free web and office products such as text processing, spreadsheets, e-mail and contacts management in the cloud, so to speak, having access to your information through the web. Our newly recruited instructor, James McDonald, has developed a very well thought out on Google Apps. During the first test run of the class among our volunteer crew, James enlighted us with great ideas how to solve common problems with Google’s customizable homepage, Email and contacts. With the help of spreadsheet and documents, he taught us how to share sharing contact lists, family birthday calendars among far away family members and friends.

We have scheduled another introductory class for November 29 at 6pm – 8pm at the Naples Free-Net Office. The class is free, however seats are limited, so registration is required
